I've been caught up with various bits and pieces but must take the last couple of pictures to complete this first assignment. I want to show the down side of living in a small town. What with the masses of traffic, tourists on a summer's day and the lack of residents in the locality.
I took a panoramic picture of one street which has only one house with permanent residents. The resulting image was over 180mb before I flattened the image and saved it as a JPG file. It ended up at 25 inches long by 10 inches. I remembered seeing some professional panoramas where the photographer said that you got better results if you used the camera in portrait mode as this enabled you to get a better fit with all the sections.
